Overview
Generated documentation for every ByteChef component and flow control, plus the expression syntax.
The Reference section documents the building blocks a workflow is made of:
- Components: A page per built-in component, listing each of its actions and triggers with their properties and outputs.
- Flow Controls: The steps that shape how a workflow runs — branching, looping, parallelism, error handling, sub-workflows, and approvals.
- Expressions: The expression syntax used to reference data from earlier steps, plus the built-in functions available to transform it.
These pages describe what each building block accepts and returns. For task-oriented guidance, start with the Automation guide.
The component and flow-control pages are generated from the definitions in the ByteChef repository rather than written by hand, so do not edit them directly.
